The Product

In partnership with AAMI NeuraMetrics™ has developed a Clinical Engineering Benchmarking Tool….. to assist clinical engineering departments and contractors at healthcare facilities to evaluate their performance, procedures, and policies in a standardized manner.
The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) has created an online self-assessment tool to assist clinical engineering departments and contractors at healthcare facilities to evaluate their performance, procedures, and policies in a standardized manner.  This assessment process will allow Hospitals to understand their “Current Reality” and be able to benchmark against like hospitals.
In addition, users of this tool can address identified gaps in their performance, procedures and policies against a specific recognized set of Best Practices.  Correction of these weaknesses will lead to improved business outcomes.  Users can identify strengths that can be used for strategic advantage or cost-effective replication of successes and they can baseline against internal standards or benchmark against industry practices to characterize progress in correction endeavors.
AAMI & NeuraMetrics worked with known successful Industry Practices, Subject Matter Experts and Best Practices to produce a comprehensive profiler query which can be administered over the web to a strategically selected group of respondents concerned with Clinical Engineering processes and procedures.  Their survey answers are recorded anonymously to capture Superior Insight and better outcomes across the board
The query results are displayed in a lucid and insightful manner with displays that match the expectations of the expected executive audience, and a dynamic presentation of the results is produced using an array of charts and graphics that offer strategic oversight.
